Provide food for those who need it most In yet another joint action, we distributed, in partnership with União Rio, approximately 48 tons of food to families in need in the region of Duque de Caxias (RJ), where ALE headquarters are located. We bring hope and food to the table of thousands of people. The campaign reinforces our concern for the communities around us and the commitment to those who make ALE one of the largest companies in the country.
ALE treats Brazil’s natural wealth as a priority. In addition to respecting the laws that protect the environment, we always seek to support initiatives in this regard.
Ecoboat is a fundamental environmental solution and is fully integrated with our sustainability and preservation values. The project includes boats, which carry out cleaning, and the correct final destination of floating waste to recipients licensed by environmental agencies.
Unfortunately, Rio de Janeiro’s lagoons and bays have become victims of pollution and, to contribute to changing this scenario, effort and investment are required. Currently, Ecoboat collects about 30 tons of floating solid waste per month, only in Guanabara Bay. ALE’s support for the project aims to call people’s attention to care for the environment and reinforce that everyone’s attitude makes a difference. Collaborate to make the planet more sustainable!
A program that benefits children and adolescents being treated in public or philanthropic hospitals. Posto da Alegria Playroom is a playful, colorful space that brings together varied toys, activities with games, figures, reading, TV, DVD and films as positive stimuli in the recovery of infant patients. This is an initiative of ALE in partnership with the Voluntary Social Assistance Service (Servas) and the Government of Minas Gerais. Reason for pride and satisfaction, two Posto da Alegria toy stores have already been built in Belo Horizonte/MG: one at Hospital da Baleia and another at CEPAI (Psychic Center for Adolescence and Childhood).
